Exploring New Technology with MOSTI
Shah Alam, 21st August 2026 – Ikramatic Systems Sdn Bhd was pleased to welcome Ts. Dr. Syed Muhammad Hafiz bin Syed Mohd Jaafar from the Department of Applied Science, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), for a half-day visit to its facility in Glenmarie.
During the knowledge-sharing session, both parties exchanged insights on the future of aviation and aerospace training in Malaysia. Drawing on his experience as a recipient of funding from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), as well as his experience serving as a MOSTI-appointed expert panel member, Dr Syed shared insights on relevant funding opportunities that the company could explore to support its R&D and commercialisation activities.
The discussion also explored potential areas of collaboration in advanced simulation and training technologies, with particular emphasis on strengthening local technological capabilities and contributing to Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem in the strategic aerospace sector.
As part of the visit, Dr Syed had the opportunity to experience several simulation products developed by the company, providing further insight into its capabilities in designing and developing advanced training solutions.
The visit provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and the exploration of future collaboration between Ikramatic Systems and UTP, particularly in technology development, talent development and industry–academia initiatives that could contribute to the growth of Malaysia’s aviation and aerospace ecosystem, while supporting the country’s aspiration to become a regional leader in advanced simulation and training technologies.
Visit by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea
Kuala Lumpur, 21st April 2026 – Ikramatic Systems was honoured to welcome H.E. Yeo Seung-bae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, and the Embassy delegation to our Glenmarie facility.
During the visit, the delegation received an update on Ikramatic Systems' experience and collaboration with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) under the FA-50M Ground Mission Support System (GMSS) Project. The discussion provided an opportunity to share valuable feedback on the ongoing cooperation and explore future areas of collaboration.
The delegation also toured our research and development facilities, where they experienced our latest innovations in simulation technologies and gained insight into our capabilities in developing advanced simulation solutions.
We are truly grateful for the Embassy's visit and their interest in our work. Ikramatic Systems looks forward to strengthening our partnership with Korean organisations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in the aerospace, defence, and simulation sectors.

PUTD Delegation Visits Ikramatic Systems Headquarters
Shah Alam, 4th May 2026 – The Director General of Pasukan Udara Tentera Darat (PUTD), Brigadier General Mohd Zaki Abu, along with his delegation, paid an official visit to Ikramatic Systems Sdn Bhd headquarters.
During the visit, the PUTD delegation had the opportunity to experience Ikramatic Systems’ latest developments, including advanced Mixed Reality training solutions and the multi-role combat simulator. The session provided valuable exposure to the company’s capabilities in delivering immersive and high-fidelity simulation technologies for defence applications.
Ikramatic Systems Receives Letter of Intention from Airbus Helicopters During DSA 2026
Kuala Lumpur, 21st April 2026 – Ikramatic Systems Sdn Bhd has received a Letter of Intention (LOI) from Airbus Helicopters for the H225 simulator visual upgrade project during Defence Services Asia 2026. The exchange of the LOI was witnessed by the Minister of Defence of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in strengthening Ikramatic Systems’ capabilities in advanced flight simulation technologies. The collaboration is expected to enhance the company’s expertise in developing high-fidelity simulator systems, particularly in visual and immersive training solutions.
The LOI also reflects growing confidence in Ikramatic Systems’ technical capabilities and positions the company for further opportunities in both local and international defence and aerospace markets.
Visit by Royal Malaysian Airforce Innovation Team
Shah Alam, 1st April 2026 – Mejar Firdaus TUDM, representing the Kumpulan Inovasi & Kreatif (KIK) team from INSPEN 2, conducted a demonstration visit to the headquarters of Ikramatic Systems Sdn Bhd.
During the visit, Mejar Firdaus presented their latest innovation, Cockpit Operations for Pilot Training with Enhanced Reality (C.O.P.T.E.R), to Mr. Syed Jamil (Managing Director), Mr. Roshaizat (Head of Engineering), and Mr. Shauqi (General Manager).
The C.O.P.T.E.R system is designed to support helicopter trainees by providing early familiarisation prior to full-flight simulator sessions and actual aircraft training. This approach aims to enhance learning efficiency and reduce the initial training curve for new pilots.
Throughout the session, Ikramatic Systems shared valuable technical insights and recommendations to further improve the system's capabilities.
Ikramatic Systems extends its best wishes to the INSPEN 2 KIK team for their participation in this year's KIK competition and looks forward to their continued success.
Industrial Visit by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence
Shah Alam, 27th January 2026 – The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali, led an industrial visit to Ikramatic System Sdn. Bhd. to review the company's capabilities and expertise in the development of defence simulation systems.
The visit also served as a platform for strategic discussions between industry and the Ministry of Defence Malaysia (MINDEF), in line with the National Defence Industry Policy (DIPN) and the Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP).
